SKKU: Week 2, Day 6 (Oido Beach)

Relatively long picture post, sorry everyone!

This morning, while we were doing laundry, Joy and I went to visit Tous Les Jours, another bakery because I love bread.

Cream cheese bread, fresh cream bread, and milk.

Joy was super ecstatic about this bread, and I can see why. It was good, probably because it tasted like it had been smothered in sugar and butter.

Green tea swiss roll come to me!

 And cakes too!

Mini version that I am probably going to get soon one day.

Candid shots~

Met up with everyone to go to the beach!

Packed subway today. We needed to transfer from the 1 to the 4.

Getting off the subway to transfer onto a bus. Apparently, getting on a bus directly after a subway gives you a discount.

Waiting for the bus stop.

The bus was super crowded. I was holding onto a pole that a couple was holding onto and I felt like an intruder.

We went to go visit this boat.

 Obligatory group photo.

Oido~

Nice weather today! (though it quickly turned really cold)

One of the gun turrets.

Inside the captain's quarters.

The wind was strong today.

After the boat we headed to a lighthouse.

Cute dogs along the way.

Fresh fish market.

Korean candy stand.

This guy was dancing around with scissors to promote the candy.

It was really good.

Here's the lighthouse which was actually a nice length to climb up.

From up on the lighthouse, we spotted the missing family members of this Mickey doll near campus.

Some really good doughy sweet thing that Osjon let me try.

Lots of seagulls.

 Shrimp crackers and cornbread.

Flounder and stingrays.

Got some fresh filleted stingray (we watched it get filleted though) and some cooked mollusks. I didn't try this because I was still feeling under the weather.

Extra long mollusk.

Everyone trying some.

And then somehow we also got oranges? My favorite part of this lunch tbh.

We were going to use chopsticks to go dig up crabs, but it was high tide.

UT boys minus Noah.

Joy borrowed Ryan's hoodie since it suddenly got really cold.

Along the way, a little kid said hello to the white man Glen.

Saw the dancing couple again, this time with drums and a Gangnam Style remix.

This man was so cool.

1000 makgeolli.

Ryan kept on saying this was fried shrimp when it was really squid.

It was pretty good, though I ended up wanting the fried covering more.

A game where you tried to cut out a candy without breaking it. If you win, you get one for free.

 Well, I tried.

More cute dogs.

Suspicious island.

I don't know which version I like better so I just upload both.

We ended up eating at this restaurant.

Barley rice bibimbap.

This was really good.

And then a giant seafood soup appeared.

The soup was actually pretty spicy.

There was an effort.

Drank some makgeolli mixed with Sprite.

After dinner we went to go buy fireworks at a conbini.

I was to full to try this, but one day, mark my words.

Fabulous blurry pictures from me.

 City is beautiful at night.

 Everyone with sparklers.

It was fun but now I'm super exhausted. Until tomorrow!
