Today's adventure was kind of boring since we all went to the immigration office at around 9 AM (had to wake up at 6-7AM) by bus (made a new friend too) and still had to wait around 2 hours to get our paperwork done. Our alien registration card is going to take 2-3 weeks to get back to us, so life is kind of cruel. Feeling a little under the weather and I haven't really had time to just sleep in for a day.
Afterwards, we went to a chicken soup place. Unedited phone pictures because my camera battery had still been charging and uploading from phone is pretty simple.
Here's a whole chicken stuffed in rice in a soup. It was alright, but I wasn't in the mood for that.
I got sweet and sour chicken instead.
After that, the group split ways to get back to campus (taxi vs bus). I opted for bus because the ride was bumpy and it was fun. Fell asleep after laying down on my bed and I woke up in time for
Dinner today at SKKU was squid pasta and acorn jelly. Squid didn't taste that good to me. Wasn't feeling too good by now so I only ate the rice, soup, and jelly.
Went back to my dorm and fell back asleep. Woke up because I wanted to go charge my camera battery and when I was fumbling around in the dark with plugs and outlets and plug converters, I short circuited the whole room so there was some adventure where I interrupted the RA going around handing out rule books (in Korean, so I can still say I don't know the rules and penalties) to ask her to ask where the circuit breaker was. She called a maintenance guy instead so I chilled in Joy's room while this was happening. After around 10 minutes I went to go check my room, and it had been locked with my key still inside. Cue a trip to the security guard downstairs and we had a painstaking 20 minute talk rife with language barriers before I got a spare key. Kind of sad that I don't have pictures to document this pain.
After this whole ordeal was over, I needed to do something with my mountain of change that I had accumulated today, so I got 7 100원 coins and we went to go rummage around in the ice cream bin.
Joy found this for me! We kept on questioning if this was really green tea or not, but what else could it be?
Nhghghfdsk I love creamy green tea flavored things. Looks like this is the only kind of ice cream I'll get for now. A good way to end a really hectic day.
