SKKU: Week 9 (Midterms Week & Lotte World 2)

Cool, so this post is basically a summary of what happened in midterms week (plus Lotte World on Friday), so there's a lot of stress eating in here.

Some bread from Tous les Jours that advertises itself as a loaf composed of sandwiches but I discovered a slice on mine that was not part of a greater cause (of being a sandwich).

Ate at Lotteria with Glen and was disappointed greatly with life at how expensive and Not What I Was Expecting the chicken was.

Soda ice treat~

Wednesday night we went to go eat budae jjigae at another place.

And then got ice cream afterwards.

Okay, so midterms should be taken seriously and not like UT midterms (which are just a test) but you got to treat these things like finals. Usually classes are canceled for this week (just like finals), not including class times used for tests. I was under the impression that studies here would be easier from former exchange students and the SKKU exchange students at UT, but I'm pretty sure it's really not at this point. Also, as a side note I've gotten almost none of my assignments back from any of my teachers to use as study material and TAs are kind of a rare creature I can never find contact information for.

So, of course, I'm drowning my feelings in food and going back to Lotte World with Vic, who hasn't gone yet. Makin' use of this 1-year long pass.

We woke up at 7:30AM to get there since it opens at 9AM. Ryan was dead on his feet.

Joy finally got the headband she wanted, so of course she puts it on me first.

Waiting in line for that really fun ride that I forgot the name of.

This is what it looks like but I still don't remember the name.

Successful group photo!

We saw all these girls in a line.

Vic getting in the way of my lens finder.

A mildly disappointing hot dog.

French Revolution was fun!

There's a shooting booth right next to the photos, so Ryan and Vic tried it out.

The guns didn't shoot straight at all.

We got raccoon tail keychains.

Did the sky rail thing around the inside of the park.

Vic's hat + cat ears.

I actually really like this hat. Anyway, both Vic and Ryan had someplace to go at this time, so Joy and I went around trying different things.

Sometimes I tell her to smile and I get these expressions.

A 1.75 hr wait!

It was definitely worth it.

Got a funnel cake afterwards. The ice cream tastes a bit funky, so I wouldn't recommend it.

Pineapple soda slushie.

This elevator was really cute.

And then an almost two hour wait for Pharoah.

Joy was pretty unamused for most of the ride.

After this ride, we just kind of went back home because that was a whole lot of waiting for around 5 rides haha. I had to wake up early to go to Busan anyway, so I'll be covering that in my next post!
