On Sunday, we all decided to go to the bathhouse Spaland in Shinsegae.
I was trying to take a picture of the cool building that houses the Busan Film Festival. On the ride here, Noah told the taxi driver to take a shortcut that foreigners wouldn't know about and the taxi driver let out a very boisterous "YEAHHHH" at that.
The exterior of Spaland.
Unfortunately, I was the only girl on this trip so I got separated from everyone. This led to confusing times of meetup especially since I thought we were supposed to leave at 10AM but really it meant let's meet up at 10:30AM to eat in the bathhouse. By this time, I had already exited, so I pretty much went to go eat lunch by myself.
A disappointing bulgogi burger set. It wasn't cold, but it definitely wasn't hot. Apparently they just give out coke without really asking me what I wanted. And the guys hadn't eaten yet so I tagged along to watch them eat.
I found a lolita! Man did I feel creepy.
The Chinese restaurant we went to had a beautiful view. You can see the Busan International Film Festival building (BIFF on the roof).
There were other dishes but I forgot to take a picture of it.
Fried sweet potato and pineapple slices for dessert.
Leaving Shinsegae to get to a fish market. We ended up crossing a lot of streets via underground subway tunnels, which added probably 4" of muscle to my calves.
Alright, so heads up to people going to Busan. If you put T-Money on your Student ID, it won't work, but if you put T-Money on your bank card, it apparently will work. I don't know what's up with that. Noah helped me by 1-way tickets.
Look at this cute puppy!
All the cities have a descriptor in front. So this is Dynamic Busan, and SKKU is in Human Suwon, which doesn't really make sense.
Obligatory portraits of everyone.
Some performers singing outside of the fish market.
Fish statues.
Cuttlefish
Odd looking fishes.
These fishes had cool fins.
Crabs almost getting out but getting dragged down by their own brethren.
Everyone pretty much watched this for the next ten or fifteen minutes.
Korean words I am supposed to be memorizing on the trip for my Korean midterm.
We stopped by a PC room so Noah could use Internet Explorer to look up train/bus tickets back to campus.
We got some delicious shaved ice with fruit and red bean.
Dragon statue.
Glen just had to turn around.
Going to Lotte!
Picture is unclear, but there was a water display show sync'd with music.
I can only imagine how much it all costs.
We went up to the 11th floor to look at the petting zoo. Glen seemed mortified by this dog peeing statue.
Albino hedgehogs.
Trying to take picture of chinchillas chilling out, but my camera wanted to focus on the fence.
AHHH RABBITS.
RABBITS OUT OF THEIR ENCLOSURE.
PIGLETS
The view from Lotte.
A declaration of love.
Here's where all the keys go.
After all this, we went back to Hyomin's house to make curry. It was delicious. I missed eating runny eggs.
We went to go get donuts afterwards.
Fun with panoramics.
Chocolate amaretto donut and a cream cheese pretzel. After this, we went to a Paris Baguette.
Chocolate cream cake.
Black forest cake.
At the end, there was a piece of black forest cake left. After Noah and Windter said they were done, I promptly split the piece into halves for Glen and me.
We went back to sleep for around 3 hours. Our KTX train left at 4:20 AM.
KTX station is really big.
They're really cute like this.
Enjoying the Hogwarts train back to Suwon. It takes around half the time the bus took, but it's also like 2x more expensive. They don't come around to check tickets though, since everything is based on seating. Some guy sat in front of me at the 2nd stop and he had super long legs. His knees kept on brushing against mine and I was so unsure what to do with it.
Back in drizzly Suwon. We took the Dark Blue line from Asan to SKKU and reached campus at around 8:28 AM and I had class at 9:00 AM haha. I ran as quickly as I could back to my dorm to shower and then run to class.
